My FASTer Way to Fat Loss Story

In January 2019 I was 14 months postpartum with my second baby. My c-section recovery was slow this time. I was focused on keeping my core safe and not pushing myself too fast. I was eating what I liked to say was an 80/20 diet; meaning I ate healthy 80% of the time and indulged 20% of the time.
This lifestyle was not working.
I was tired and trying to chug coffee to stay awake and keep up with my littles. I didn't fit in the shorts I was planning to wear that summer. I searched for an answer and because I thought working out was the answer I purchased a 60 day shred dvd series. Did my body change after 60 days?
Not really. Maybe a little stronger but still tired and still fluffy all around. I was on Instagram watching stories and came across a fitness influencer, Sarah Dussault, who I followed. She was sharing about a fat loss program she was doing postpartum. I was intrigued. I had realized nutrition was probably the thing that needed to change but I wasn't sure what direction to head.
I did not want to give up carbs, feel hungry all the time, or give up treats on special occasions.
Sarah mentioned that she was eating more than she ever had before and was getting the results she always wanted. SIGN ME UP!
I joined and dove in fast to learn and implement the strategies. I knew pretty quickly this program was something special. The program focused on improving your health and body from the inside out. I was no longer hungry (in fact some days it felt like too much food), had energy from morning to night, and my body was changing.
I tried on those shorts 3 weeks in and I could button them! After the initial 6 weeks I joined VIP and at week 9 my body was burning fat fast. I was leaner and stronger than I had been since high school. A sustainable lifestyle that gave me the ability to reach my fitness goals and improve my health. Magic!
