Fight Inflammation After Babies

One of the first things we all want is our belly to go away, right? Many of us will say we want to lose the baby weight, but in reality, we just want to fit into our old clothes, have more energy, and feel confident in our new bodies. Your body has changed. For me, my hips were bigger and I was holding on to inflammation in my lower belly.
Things that can cause inflammation are lack of nutrition-dense food (eating lots of processed food), lack of sleep, not engaging in any activity, or even trying one of the many diets out there.
We need to eat enough whole foods (protein, carbs, and healthy fats), move our body each day, get enough sleep, and harness the power of intermittent fasting. Through my research on intermittent fasting, I have learned so many cool things for our mom bods. One of my favorite fun facts is that when you are fasting your body will burn fat and fight inflammation while helping your skin tighten. Those crash diets that leave all that access skin are not necessary or sustainable.
Check out this article/podcast episode I recently found that explains more about the power of intermittent fasting and getting enough sleep when wanting to fight inflammation.
Having the FASTer Way strategies is what gives me the tools to fight inflammation on a consistent basis. So when I enjoy a holiday and eat lots of fatty or high in dairy foods and my lower belly gets bloated - I know exactly what to start implementing the next day. Intermittent fasting, whole food nutrition, and moving my body are the trifecta I start with.
